We are excited that you have chosen TEAM25 to meet your child’s summer camping needs. A positive camping experience can be one of the most meaningful events in a person’s life. Our goal is to make a permanent difference in your child’s life. Last summer we had the opportunity to impact over 100 children state-wide. We look forward to working with and for your child this summer at the Rochester Athletic Club (RAC)! Our Day Camp sessions begin with check-in each morning at 10:00 am in the “neighborhood” gym. Please do not arrive before 10:00 am. Camp will end each day at 2:00pm. Please be sure to arrange for pick-up at 2:00pm.

STAFF:
Our staff is made up of MSHSL coaches and professional educators. They are mature, competent, trained leaders, skilled in the camp's activities and sensitive to your camper's needs.
PROGRAM: activities that encourage healthy living & hockey skill development.
TEAM 25’s daily program provides the framework in which a child is encouraged to grow in a positive way. The younger the camper, the more detailed guidance they will receive from their instructors. The daily activity schedule is consistent providing a feeling of security and familiarity to the camper.
FOOD:
Campers will be served lunch each day. Please note any food allergies or sensitivities (for example: dairy, nuts, wheat, or shellfish) on the waiver form.
PARENT NOTIFICATION:
The safety and well being of your camper is TEAM 25’s number one priority. There may be times when the camp will contact you in order to update you on the health and well being of your camper. If it is necessary to contact you, camp staff will attempt to reach you by phone as soon as possible. There are two general reasons why the camp may notify you when your camper is at camp: Accident/Illness and discipline.
CAMPER’S BELONGINGS:
All articles including shoes and athletic equipment should be marked with the camper's name.
Thank you for registering your child with TEAM 25 Camp. If you have any further questions, please call Jim Renn at 507-536-2015 or 1-800-825-3246.

Adaptive Floor Hockey
Why are we unique?
We believe we are the only elementary adaptive floor hockey program in the nation where children with physical and mental disabilities are able to participate.
The adaptive floor hockey program is for students (3rd grade – 12th grade) with physical or other health impairments. This camp is especially tailored for children with disabilities (medically diagnosed neuromuscular, postural/skeletal, traumatic, growth or neurological impairments which impact the child’s physical functioning.) The SPCF began a pilot program the summer of 2001 and due to its tremendous success we are growing the program. This year an elementary league will run in conjunction with the high school program during the school year. It is our hope to grow this program into other communities throughout the state of Minnesota and ultimately the nation.
"It's been a wonderful experience for my son. It's good for him both physically and mentally and has taught him a lot about himself and others."
-Janet Schlenker, parent"AFH is the best confidence builder in the world! The kids are doing something no one else can do and if the kids in wheelchairs could get up and stand, they'd stand about 8" taller... not to mention the fact that it's just plain old fun!"
-Virginia Cormack, parent"Adapted Hockey is the best sport on the planet!"
-Ryan Stack, player"Hockey helps me set goals and work to reach them."
-Eric Rud, player
Why is our program important?
We saw a need. By third grade most children can participate in community sports or youth ice hockey. The children we targeted don’t have programs available to them. We wanted to introduce the sport of hockey to these children.
The Shjon Podein Children’s Foundation provides the equipment, helps pay for the costs of gym space and interpreters if needed. We share our equipment and resources between the teams and stagger our camps to keep individual camp fees incredibly low or free.
